General Manager
Grand Prairie, TX Regional Office and Distribution Center

Coast Southwest seeks a motivated leader with ten to fifteen years experience in the chemical industry who enjoys working with customers, has a commitment to quality, and knows how to manage to the bottom line. Candidates must bring deep operations management experience, some sales management experience and a demonstrated history of excellent relationships with customers and suppliers.

The general manager position will be responsible for all operations functions and personnel for the Grand Prairie, TX location. This location includes warehousing, distribution, silicone manufacturing, blending, and research and development capabilities. The general manager is also accountable for delivering outstanding customer satisfaction while adhering to the National Association of Chemical Distributors Responsible Distribution Process (RDP), managing cost, and ensuring the highest levels of quality.

This position also has sales management responsibility for Coast Southwest sales representatives reporting to the Grand Prairie location.

The Grand Prairie general manager will report to Coast Southwest director of operations, located in Placentia, CA with dotted line responsibility to the Coast Southwest vice president of sales, located in Placentia, CA.

Sales Representative
Dallas/Fort Worth, TX Metroplex

Coast Southwest has an opening for a sales representative to represent the company’s surfactant, silicone, and personal care specialties lines to new prospects and existing accounts in assigned geographic territory. The goal is top line revenue growth with the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The position may require some travel.

Coast Southwest represents the finest manufacturers in the chemical industry. As a regional distributor, we are committed to providing the products our customers want in the timeframe they need.

Candidates will have a minimum of five years sales experience in the chemical and/or specialty ingredients industry with a demonstrated track record of sales growth.

The sales representative position will be based out of the Grand Prairie, TX branch location and will report to the Vice President of Sales located in Placentia, CA.
